Welcome to our main showroom at Glotech in St Albans. We began originally in Finchley as Finchley Vac Supercentre where we still offer great products at great prices. Our showroom now includes an impressive display of fitted kitchens to offer the complete service.
Established in 1970 as a vacuum cleaner spares and repairs specialists we soon expanded to become one of London's and Hertfordshire's largest independent domestic appliance retailers. In 1975 we opened a shop on Finchley High Road under our original name of Finchley Vac Centre. We continued to expand opening our Supercentre a few doors down in 1990.
In 1999 we moved into Hertfordshire opening a joint showroom and large warehouse in St. Albans under the name Global Domestic Appliances.
In 2005 we decided to rebrand to Glotech so we could include all areas of our business. Today Glotech offer new domestic appliances, domestic appliance repairs and fitted kitchens.
As a retailer with over 50 years’ experience we know our products extremely well and along with our sales side we incorporate an extensive repair business with engineers constantly out on the road. This gives us an excellent resource in advising customers of the best appliances for their needs. We supply our customers with products such as Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Cookers, Hobs, Washer Dryers, Fridges, Freezers and many more! We also supply great brands such as Hotpoint, Siemens, Bosch, AEG, Whirlpool, Miele to name but a few. All with the best possible service available.
