JANES store is tucked away at the base of the Chiltern hills in the village of Edlesborough and have been trading for over 130 years as a small independent retailer in the Beds/Bucks & Herts areas.

Andrew and Louise Janes, the brother and sister team are now the 5th generation to continue this legacy from their Great, Great Grandfather Ezra Janes in 1891 as a small cobbler’s boot store, converting the original house into a complete shop with each generation adding different departments that you see today. Our business has survived on reputation, trust, honesty and word of mouth by providing excellent customer service which is at the fore front of everything we do.
