Powerpoint have two branches one in Oakengates and one in Wellington, both stores have a wide display of large and small appliances which include Washers, Washer Dryers, Tumble Dyers, Dishwashers, Gas and Electric Cookers, Built-In appliances, Vacuum Cleaners, Kettles, Toasters, Irons cookware and hair care, shavers and much more.
Powerpoint was started in 1995 by husband and wife team Sterling and Avril Broad. Avril had a background working for a large retail company and working for a major bank and Sterling worked for a small independent company selling and repairing white goods.
After they both lost their jobs on the same day, starting their own business seemed the way to go especially with their combined experience knowledge and expertise. Rapidly the company moved to larger and larger premises’ fulfilling the demand from customers and soon became a trusted name well known for reliability and excellent service.
Joining Euronics in 2004 seemed to be a natural progression advantageous to their ever-growing customer base to enable them to have easier quicker access to more manufacturers and with much greater buying power.
Now with dedicated full-time delivery technicians and full-time workshop and field engineers the company look forward to continuing the success of the last 20 years well into the future.
