Design

Innovation
Research carried out by Indesit in the design phase for the development of Moon showed that on average, out of 12 to 14 wash programmes, only a maximum of four are actually used. This highlighted a demand for a machine that simplifies programme setting by letting the machine choose the most suitable programme for each type of washing.
Just one touch is all it takes to set programmes thanks to the revolutionary control panel and its ergonomic design - four special buttons for instant setting of any type of washing with one simple touch.
In addition, the unique self-cleaning dispenser inside the door delivers detergent directly into the heart of the wash giving up to 50% more cleaning power and none of it is left in the drawer (source: SGS Group).
Performance
Once the programme has started, the Moon controls the wash using its "Smart Solutions", designed to guarantee the best results every time. All the programmes automatically regulate temperature, wash intensity and spin speed for every kind of fabric, guaranteeing perfect results and also protecting even the most delicate fibres.
The "Variable Load" function checks the quantity of laundry loaded into the machine and sets the right amount of water, energy and length of wash. The internal load balancing system is designed to keep vibration to a minimum. Even traces of detergent residue on garments are a thing of the past with the Indesit Moon, thanks to special sensors that automatically detect the amount of detergent left in the water and automatically run up to 2 extra rinses if needed. The rinse only function also makes it possible to just rinse garments that could only previously be washed by hand.
