Washing & Drying

Gorenje has developed UseLogic® technology, featured in many of our laundry appliances, which uses intelligent sensors to continuously monitor the purity of the water in each cycle and then automatically adjusts the level of water for the type of load; ensuring that clothes and fabrics are cleaned gently and efficiently. During the rinsing process, the sensors also monitor the amount of detergent used and automatically take care of additional rinsing if appropriate. This ensures that our washing machines use only the exact amount of water necessary, and not a drop more.
Our laundry appliances also feature a selection of programmes specifically created to deliver ecological benefits. The ECO 30°C wash option provides excellent washing results at a lower temperature; saving energy and money. The 17 Minute Quick Wash option also offers the consumer these benefits, and is very handy for less soiled laundry needed in a hurry. The WA82145 includes a delayed start function, which the consumer can use to program their laundry to run at night, when cheaper energy tariffs may be available.

Cooling

Gorenje's highly efficient cooling appliances include an energy performance rating of 'A+' or even 'A++', such as the famous Retro refrigeration range, and can bring energy savings of up to 25 per cent compared with an 'A' appliance. In addition to excellent insulation, Gorenje fridges and freezers also feature improved door sealing, as well as state-of-the-art cooling system components and refrigeration electronics, all of which are designed to minimise energy consumption. The Zero'n'Fresh drawer keeps food at 0°C, preserving perishable food such as vegetables, fruit and meat products for up to three times longer, while the Fast Freeze option takes temperatures down to an exceptionally low -32°C, which ensures the preservation of the cell structure and therefore food quality and texture on defrosting.

Cooking

Our built-in oven range has been expertly designed to provide a superior cooking experience, while remaining incredibly eco-friendly.
New for 2011, many of our ovens have been increased to a huge 65-litre capacity, while retaining their excellent 'A' energy rating. This allows the consumer to cook more food at once, saving time and energy.
Our patented DirecTOUCH electronic control ensures that consumers only use the precise amount of energy needed at any time. The oven is ready to go in three simple steps, and numerous preset programmes automatically set the right combination of heating elements, temperature and cooking time. Large and clearly recognisable symbols make the oven easy to use while still giving the consumer the freedom to set all the cooking parameters according to their preference and cooking ability. Favourite settings can also be stored in the memory, for instant recall when they are next needed.
